Drone Program Manager (f/m)

Job Description

We are Intel's unmanned aerial vehicles UAV team and we need YOU to make our products fly! Formed by a recent acquisition, we are a small but successful startup within Intel and operate in a highly dynamic and largely independent environment.

We are looking for a passionate Drone Electronics Engineer to help us build our next generation platforms. Starting with the first product idea, you will be leading a highly integrated and cross-functional team to design and implement vital application software for our UAVs.

Our current offering spans the range from desktop-based flight planning software to cloud-based planning, processing, and analytics. You will be part of one of the most exciting trends in the industry, creating products for diverse and highly sought-after solutions. Since we are able to operate as a small independent unit within Intel, we offer flat hierarchies, fast decision making and great atmosphere combined with the benefits of a competitive compensation.

We are looking for a passionate, self-starting individual with a wide focus and the ability to grasp the big picture.

At the same time, we require you to deliver to the highest standards in your respective field.

Ideally, you have

  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in software development projects.
  • Experience in developing systems that contain a multitude of different applications as well as hardware is a plus.
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven track record of released products
  • Experience in working with customers
  • Experience in working with external contractors
  • Project management certification GPM/IPMA or PMP
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Ideally good command of German
