We are Intel's unmanned aerial vehicles UAV team and we need YOU to make our products fly! Formed by a recent acquisition, we are a small but successful startup within Intel and operate in a highly dynamic and largely independent environment.

We are looking for a passionate Drone Algorithmics Engineer to help us build our next generation platforms. What we are looking for. We are looking for a passionate algorithmics engineer that manages the maths behind drones.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex mathematical and algorithmic problems, is able to deploy the solution in actual product code and loves to enable our customers in doing things that they were not able to do before.

You will enhance our flight planning, mission execution and post processing solutions.

What we want from you:

We are looking for a passionate, self-starting individual with a wide focus and the ability to grasp the big picture.

At the same time, we require you to deliver to the highest standards in your respective field.

Ideally, you have:

  • Experience in path planning, mapping and geospatial algorithmics
  • Strong background in optimization algorithms
  • Experience in designing, modelling and analyzing algorithms
  • Experience in Matlab/Simulink a plusIdeally experience with flight control engineering and related sensors GPS, compass, etc. or similar applications in autonomous vehicles
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with either Java or C / C++Experience in deploying and optimizing for embedded systems a plus
  • Proven track record of released products
  • Good command of English, both written and oral
  • Ideally good command of German
