The Entertainment Group’s Advertising Team is responsible for driving consumer awareness and understanding of this transformation, making AT&T distinctive from competitors, driving both short term sales and long term value.



As Director, Emerging Digital & Social Media on the Advertising Team you will be responsible for working with platform partners to keep AT&T at the forefront of what’s possible:



+ Lead Digital & Social Media strategy, working with internal teams such as, PR, advertising, e-commerce

+ Drive the creation new digital and social media possibilities

+ Be the lead partner to emerging and established platforms – developing ideas that leverage the platforms to further the Entertainment Group’s business objectives

+ Lead the briefing of peers in the Advertising Team on new technologies and ad units, and the development of platform Alphas and Betas

+ Work with internal business units to craft social media strategies to help support various products, devices, partnerships

+ Own analysis, recommendations and rationale for emerging digital and social marketing campaigns, while delivering revenue and profits consistent with fiscal year budget

+ Evolve and implement reporting methodologies and processes

+ Develop positive ROI programs and benchmark campaign results

+ Act as subject matter expert, communicating internally and externally on social media



Position Requirements:



+ Bachelor’s degree or like experience and 7-10 years’ work experience in Marketing/Social Media and/or Digital/Mobile Marketing. Master’s and/or MBA desired

+ Agency experience on Fortune 50 brand preferred

+ In depth understanding of social media platforms, creative best practices, measurement, media buying and ad formats

+ Required understanding of social media emerging landscape – platforms, vendors and brand leaders in medium

+ Self-starter who is creative in coming up with innovative and cutting-edge marketing solutions.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills for the development and presentation of results, analysis, ability to socialize results with a variety of stakeholders

+ Excellent leadership, interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with internal clients and external partners to produce quality output

+ Ability in managing a high-functioning team, in a fast-paced environment

+ Expert in analytical tools, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
