We are looking for a qualified Digital Content & Communications Specialist to join our exciting and diverse team of digital champions. You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining digital content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include sharing content to raise program/team awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices. In a nutshell, you will be our digital guru and spokesperson.


·    Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn

·    Write success stories for the Digital Experience team

·    Excite stakeholders around our vision and mission

·    Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors

·    Champion both our internal and external communications

·    Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)


Who You'll Work With 

As part of the Global Virtual Sales & Customer Success Digital Experience & Analytics team for Cisco, you will help shape Cisco's vision and positioning for our solutions to ensure that Cisco customers receive maximum value from our unique portfolio. 


Partner with subject matter experts within Cisco, our partners, and customers to develop an approach based on a unique point of view that will drive awareness, adoption, and success for Cisco customers. Work closely with our finance team and our own Digital Experience team to optimize budget programs and processes. 


You will be aligned to a cross-functional team in EMEAR as well as the wider global virtual sales & customer success team and will play an important job in executing upon Digital Experience and Analytics strategy across EMEAR. 


Who You are

As a Digital Content & Communications Specialist, you are an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills, you perform well under deadlines and are very detail-oriented.


Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience.


Requirements:

·    5+ years of marketing and content creation experience, preferably in the technology industry.

·    Passionate communications professional with exceptional PowerPoint skills, visual design expertise

·    Ability to work with internal stakeholders to translate corporate/technical messages and concepts into clear, compelling visuals and stories.

·    A client-focused individual with a responsive mindset, strong attention to detail, and project management skills

·    Passion for content marketing and digital marketing with understanding of industry trends

·    Dual-thinker: creative and superb storyteller

·    Familiarity with social media

·    Excellent writing skills in English

·    Proven work experience as a Content Specialist and/or PR

·    Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing

·    BSc degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
