What You'll Do

As a Data Visualization Technical Leader, you are responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our data visualization elements. With a strong focus on user experience, simplicity and elegance, you have a broad expertise in visualization technologies, with an emphasis on web-based, interactive and real-time techniques. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires a unique blend of innovation, risk taking and speed of execution.

This role is for highly technical front-end engineers who can deal with complex and large datasets, imagine novel ways of visualizing these data combined with outstanding oral and written communication skills. Most importantly, you should demonstrate an ability to autonomously plan and organize their work assignments based on high-level team goals. You will interact on a daily basis with networking, data scientists and machine learning specialists in order to develop and patent novel visualization techniques for highly dimensional data.

Who You Are

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Proven track records in building data-intensive visualization front-ends, with a focus on user experience, simplicity and elegance
  • Excellent programming skills in Javascript (D3.js, Canvas, WebGL, etc.)
  • Experience in web design and web development using React, Redux, ReactNative.
  • RESTful API design and testing
  • Experience with git and git concepts
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic design
  • Experience in data science, machine learning or statistics is a plus
  • Excellent English spoken and written skills is a must.
