What You'll Do

You're a Data Analytics Program Management experience, with strong and practical knowledge on data- mining and statistics who will ideally have experience in machine learning. You're smart, hard-working who see problems as challenges and strive to meet them. You will have a highly technical, yet multifaceted role: starting from real use cases, you will analyze complex, large and diverse data sets in support of the development team in charge of releasing the product, and you will collaborate with a wide range of experts in the field, reporting directly to a Director of SW Quality.

You've got experience designing and implementing complex software systems. You have thorough knowledge of SW development processes and ability to build prediction models to track quality from day one.

For this position, you are highly “hands-on” with a deep technical expertise and experience in building distributed and scalable data-pipelines for ETL & Machine Learning and analyzing large heterogeneous datasets to build data pipelines from high scale (and potentially noisy) datasets. You also need to have outstanding oral and written communication (presentation) skills since you will work well with other data scientists and machine learning engineers in the team, but also other teams of networking domain experts

Who You'll Work With

Our team works with engineering teams and Cisco customers, passionate about improving SW quality. We cover the offering from requirements, design, implementation, and all the way to delivery and customers support. We improve our development and testing models and focus on SW quality, as a main pillar of our priorities and values. You will partner closely with data science professionals, with the primary purpose of designing and building predictive models towards software release stabilization and achieving the required quality for customer shipment. Perform data collection, analytics, and model selection using advanced analytics to drive the decisions of our software releases and quality metrics. Illustrate the value from predictive analytics to partners both internally, as well as to our valued customers.

Who You're

. Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • You're having 5-10 years of engineering experience as a Developer, Tester, DE-Manager.
  • Deep Understanding of Cisco Product Lifecycle, tools, and processes.
  • Deep understanding of product development in regards to the engineering aspects.
  • Person who goes above and beyond working with X-functional teams and operate in gray area
  • Exceptional Ethics on doing what is right for Cisco.
  • Adept at collaborating and fostering strong relationships to deliver on common purpose.
  • Good understanding of Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics fundamentals
  • Set long term goals and drive a team to deliver on them
  • Willing to tackle high level objectives and translate them into meaningful outcomes in the direction of the team’s charter
  • Ability to lead and architect data modeling, to help predict areas for SW improvement
  • Proven experience with Modeling and Simulation tools
  • Proficient in R or Similar Statistical Package is a plus
  • Understanding of high scale SW development models

Experience with the following technologies is an added advantage:

  • Analytics, visualization and dashboards (Grafana/Kibana, InfluxDB, Bokeh, D3.js, etc.)
  • Streaming data pipelines (e.g., Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Beam)
  • Big-data stores (e.g., Apache Cassandra)
  • Data processing workflows (Luigi, Apache Airflow
