CPU power-Performance Projection student- CDG

Job Description
A candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Specialist's, Technical, Master's or PhD degree from a relevant academic institute. A Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department. The Studentship is limited in time with the intent to hire into an College Graduate/Technical Graduate position as appropriate.


Qualifications

The student position is for the CPU power-performance projection group. The group is located in Intel Israel, Haifa. The group responsibility is the CPU products optimization for power-performance from the "path finding" early stage, through design execution and until the final manufacturing. The scope of the work is multidiscipline including the work with multiple teams - design, manufacturing, architecture and platform. Technical work requires the building of the physical and statistical models for projections and system level modeling of architectural functions. Programming skills is advantage. This job offer is for CDG department in Intel Israel, Haifa. CDG department is responsible for advanced CPU design and maintenance of design tools. CDG is one of the leading design centers in Intel Corporate. Haifa design center is responsible for Intel CPU products development, design and validation of new architectures.Qualifications:Job requirements: second degree student. Degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computers. Solid state and semiconductors studies background is advantage.
