CPU Physical Design Senior Manager

Job Description

The Intel CPU Layout team which is part of the Intel i3 / i5 / i7/Core X processor development team is looking for a highly motivated and technically savvy experienced individual to join our team as a Technical Manager! This will be a fast-paced dynamic environment where you will work in the high performance, low power CPU design group.

You will lead a high impact layout design team whose deliverables range from technical readiness activities to execution focused tasks .The work is performed with broadly defined parameters, and assignments are often complex and nonstandard in nature.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

-Independently assess and drive complex physical design assignments

-Collaborate closely with other partners internally at various sites across Intel to ensure smooth project execution

-Lead & track team progress


Qualifications

You must meeting either one of the criteria possess to be initially considered for this position:

-MS in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience in VLSI Design, which includes at least 2 years as a Technical Manager or Lead OR

-BS in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering 8+ years of experience in VLSI Design, which includes at least 2 years as a Technical Manager or Lead AND

-Hands-on expertise and strong fundamentals in the following areas:

1) Project and task management

2) Very Large Scale Integration VLSI

3) Should have good understanding of layout design

Behavioral traits for this position would include logical thinking, very good verbal/written communication, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, multi-tasking, good analytical and problem solving skills.
