What You'll Do

As a Member of the Corporate Strategy team, you will partner with Cisco's Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and senior executives focusing on key strategic initiatives and projects. These will include formulation of long-term strategic priorities and plans at BU or corporate level, expansion opportunities, analysis and recommendations related to emerging industry trends and competitive dynamics, and internal business performance improvement. 

Who You'll Work With

The Corporate Strategy team is part of Cisco’s Chief Strategy Office (CSO). The CSO's charter includes the ongoing development and coordination of Cisco's corporate strategies. The Corporate Strategy team partners with business leaders to craft and drive Cisco's strategy for innovation, growth, profitability and market leadership.

You will work with collaborative and results-oriented teammates who are passionate about professional development. This team works hard with and for each other, to ensure the execution of Cisco's strategic priorities.

You have expertise leading projects directed towards key strategic priorities. You work on highly complex problems, gaining insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the Executive Leadership Team. You have exposure to senior-level decision makers and will establish partnerships across the entire organization. You demonstrate the capacity to become a future leader and be successful in an unstructured, team oriented environment. 


Our Minimum Requirements for this Role Are:
  • 3-5 years’ experience post credible MBA
  • A minimum of 3 years in a premier management consulting firm with strong interest and, ideally, exposure and track record in the high-tech industry
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, and work on complex business issues with minimum supervision
  • Effective project management skills, with experience in framing and structuring projects for self and others
  • Strong communication skills with a consistent record of effectively and convincingly communicating complex ideas to senior stakeholders
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work with senior executives across various geographies
  • Strong people development and influencing skills; able to build and drive extended and virtual teams
