What You'll Do
Cisco’s Advanced Services is looking for a Wi-Fi Consulting Engineer to join a highly active Global Enterprise Services team.

Who You'll Work With
The Team interacts with customers, business units and sales team during activities such as Network/Systems Design, Proof-Of-Concepts and Project Delivery. Customers include both Service Provider and Enterprise segments.

Who You Are 
Drives and oversees the implementation of customer projects. Provides leadership and direction on projects for maximum customer/business impact. Usually participating in or leading complex network design, performance engineering or problem resolution projects. Thorough understanding of applying technology to reach desired goal. Solves complex, cross-functional issues that cross many technologies.

Can apply good analytic process to any issue to help come to resolution. Accountable to highest levels of senior management to ensure project commitments and AS deliverables are met. The person should have prior experience with Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Dev-Ops software development. The person should have an experience with open source tools for increased productivity, security, reliability and performance . The person should have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. The person should be self-motivated and able to work independently and/or in support of or leading small teams

The candidate must be able to perform following activities: Technical solution requirements gathering, design, build, customize, configure, test and present acceptance criteria for Wi-Fi related projects.

Minimum Qualifications
• Deliver Wireless Planning, Design, Implementation & Optimization Services to Cisco's Service Provider and Enterprise Accounts.
• Perform architectural planning and design along with configuration and integration support.
• Provide operational support for complex, wireless network deployments.
• Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global Cisco Services adoption.Identify the requirements of these
• Design systems preferably using DevOps methodology

Minimum 2 years of experience in network services, Cisco AS or high level support or Large scale Network Design Experience. Strong understanding of current network technologies and good understanding of emerging technologies, especially Wireless LAN and Wireless Mesh technologies. Focus on technology outcomes and how to enable our customers. Leadership and mentoring skills are expected.

Required Technical Skills
-In depth knowledge of Wireless technology
-RF Design, RF Survey/Engineering and RF troubleshooting skills
-IP Network Design skills
-Thorough understanding of WLAN security and network management
-Experience designing and deploying key WLAN applications including Secure Mobility, Voice over WLAN, Location Based Services, and Wireless Guest Access
-Expert level Inter-networking troubleshooting in a large scale network environment.
-Strong Technical Account management skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills 
Java, Linux shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, Chef/Puppet, Web Services (REST), NETCONF, Databases, Middleware technologies, UI/JavaScript, VMware, OpenStack, Big Data and SDLC tools (Jenkins, Git).
