Component Design Engineer

Job Description
In this position, you will be part of the R&D team chartered to deliver IP and subsystem design and verification to SOC team across Intel for latest products ranging from server, desktop, tablet, to IOT and wearables. Your responsibilities include front-end design coding, assertion coding, ensure design quality by running RTL quality checks, interfacing with synthesis/timing analysis team to ensure timing clean design. The employee needs to be flexible to develop testbench, verification collaterals such as scoreboard, behavioral model, tracker/checker, and validate the functionality of RTL design by developing testplan, tests sequences, coverage point or test tools.


Qualifications

Master of Science or a Master of Technology degree in Electronics and or Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Technology degree in electronics and or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years Industry experience. Strong logic design skills and experience in Verilog or VHDL coding. Strong understanding of engineering design principles . Proficiency in reading and interpreting RTL. Knowledge about low-power design, UPF, synthesis, formal verification, static timing analysis are plus. Experience in System Verilog, OVM, RTL model build or testbench development.-Capable in developing testplan, tests contents and coverage points for validation purpose based on High Level Architecture spec. Scripting in an interpreted language, minimum TCL in addition to at least one other e.g. Perl, Python, Ruby. Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
