<b>What You'll Do</b>

The role will have a high degree of visibility within the Latin America and Europe theaters, as well as across the Sales and Service Finance organization with a particularly close partnership with the theater Finance Controller. Major areas of responsibility will include:

·       Partnership with Sales personnel ranging from Account Managers to VP-level leadership to structure a wide variety of sales opportunities, supporting growth initiatives while remaining profitable and mitigating risk. Critical thinking, judgment and discretion will be required to work effectively with Sales in a consultative capacity to drive growth in a highly competitive environment.

·       Engagement of various internal stakeholders across the company including Legal, Revenue Accounting, Business Unit, Services and other corporate functions to structure deals as well as contractual arrangements. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate effectively across a range of internal functions, working through potentially complex business issues and seeking compromises to find solutions that enable profitable growth.

·       Interlock with Sales and Business Unit Finance personnel to drive profitable growth across the customer footprint, with an emphasis on total cost of ownership

·       Identification and pursuit of workflow productivity enhancements and support of critical compliance activities

Commercial Finance partners closely with Sales and key supporting internal stakeholders to help win business by structuring key sales opportunities and customer contracts, building new revenue streams and transforming the traditional business model, while remaining profitable and compliant.

Here you'll be building influence across the Latin America and Europe Sales theaters for a key Cisco service provider customer with a wide-ranging geographic footprint. You'll be on the cutting edge in a diverse and strategic region to provide critical Finance decision support for a range of sales opportunities. You'll also be a critical member of a high caliber team of Commercial Finance experts located across the Americas and Europe. Make an impact in a high-profile position on the Americas Commercial Finance team.

 <b>Who You Are</b>

·       Professional fluency in Spanish and English is critical

·       Business-related degree/MBA or other Finance qualification

·       Substantial experience (8-10 years) in a large multinational corporate environment with exposure to various financial and/or commercial disciplines, preferably Sales or Business Unit / Research & Development organizations

·       Very strong financial analysis and reporting skills with industry-specific knowledge of key business trends

·       Superior written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presence

·       Excellent time management and planning skills with the ability to shift priorities in a highly dynamic environment


·       Portuguese language skills would be helpful

·       Knowledge of and experience with the communications service provider market, with an understanding of market trends and competitive dynamics

·       Understanding of the networking industry, including business model evolution toward software, subscription and alternative consumption methods

·       Bid, deal or pricing management experience

·       Sales support experience

·       Confidence in customer-facing situations with an understanding of successful negotiation strategies
