What You'll Do


As part of the Classified Network Services team you:

● are a technical expert in at least one technology area with broad knowledge across networking.

● drive customer satisfaction and take ownership for customer success. You identify, document and resolve issues reported by our customers.

● solve problems of diverse scope and complexity where the problem analysis requires further evaluation of multiple factors and correlation of data.

● work directly with a team of highly experienced technical experts in multiple technologies as well as closely with engineering.

● regularly consult on projects and/or project teams to deliver on customer requests or requirements


Who You'll Work With


Cisco’s government and enterprise customers receive personalized reactive service from a dedicated team of engineers called CNS (Classified Network Service). Cisco CNS Germany expedites issue resolution delivered in a secure environment for eligible government and industry customers in Germany. Supporting IT infrastructure operated in an environment with high or highest security requirements of Public Sector Clients like government, federal states or cities are facing the challenge to process and protect confidential information. Even in the case of any technical incidents, the confidentiality must be ensured and special requirements are defined by our clients. Cisco has committed to plan, build and operate any service delivery to these clients in a secure environment to be compliant with any local laws and regulations. This team is enlarging its expertise and we are seeking for people who are looking for an exciting journey to make this service a great client experience.


Who You Are


Besides the ability to work as a team member in a cross-functional environment, you possess:

● Excellent presentation and communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with customers

● Fluent German and English language skills in speaking and writing

● BS in a technical field or equivalent related work experience

● Willingness to undergo security clearance process through German government

● Willingness to work on shift in a secured environment (on call and up to 3-shift duty roster)


Technical Expertise in at least 3 of the following areas:

● Advanced understanding of Cisco Telepresence and Telepresence endpoint.

● Advanced understanding of Cisco´s Call processing portfolio (CUCM,VCS,CUBE,SRST) in a highly secure environment (SRTP/TLS)

● Solid understanding of Cisco´s collaboration portfolio applications like IM & Presence, Jabber, Unity Connection, and Cisco Webex Meetings Server.

● Good understanding of traditional (TDM) & VoIP protocols (SIP,MGCP,H.323,SCCP) together with deep knowledge of relevant Codecs for Voice and Video

● Basic understanding of Contact Center Express, Management Applications (Prime Collaboration) and relevant endpoints for Voice and Video.

● Basic knowledge of Cisco UCS portfolio in combination to UC on UCS

● Previous experience in reactive support (e.g. TAC, FTS or similar)

● CCIE level certification
