What You'll Do;

The CGEM Client Service Manager (CSM) is a customer-facing sales role promoting Cisco-branded services business across a handful of the largest UK-headquartered global enterprise customers.

Working intimately with the extended account team, the CSM will engage with Cisco’s most strategic UK‑based customers to understand the client’s strategy, needs and business requirements, positioning the most appropriate Cisco service solutions.

You will contribute to account planning, generate a balanced and healthy pipeline, ensure rigorous forecasting, execute new customer agreements and contracts, maximise bookings value, maximise contract profitability and ensure client satisfaction;

The CSM is expected to generate, progress and close deals comprising the full span of Cisco capabilities from support and maintenance through to complex advanced services.

In this job you will;

  • Proactively engage with the Cisco account team and customer points of contact to identify opportunities, sustain and build deep relationships and becoming a trusted advisor
  • Identify customer business issues, challenges and pain points
  • Apply a robust qualification methodology to potential opportunities
  • Communicate issues and solutions in a provocative and insightful way
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Commercial Contracts team, Sales Operations, Service Delivery and Advanced Services Business Development Managers. 
  • Present a comprehensive transformational business case (includes a customer problem/challenge) describing how Cisco’s solutions align with the customer’s strategy and outcome
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement, variations in price, statement of work (SOW) and closing sales by commitment
  • Ensure successful transition of projects to Service Delivery and Advanced Services team and continually monitor the progress of projects. 
  • Gather market and industry information

  • CGEM Management

Who you are;

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Sales
  • ITIL V3 certification is preferable
  • Able to influence decisions related to Cisco services and technologies
  • Knowledge of Cisco services offerings, software portfolio, data & analytics, security and industry trends (e.g. cloud)
  • Experience in creating stakeholder interlocks and also communicating analysis and business outcomes in a concise and precise way
  • Confidence in coordinating multiple initiatives effectively by leading and leveraging cross functional teams and resources
  • Demonstrate business & financial acumen, strong negotiation & presentation skills
