What You'll Do

APJC Global Manufacturing Operations (GMO) is searching for a talented, passionate, and experienced manufacturing leader to serve as its Director/Senior Director of its China Manufacturing Operations.

As an executive of the APJC GMO team, the role will report directly to the Vice President of APJC GMO.

The primary operational responsibility of this position are the following ones:

-Lead the manufacturing operations of multiple outsourced contract manufacturing sites in China to support the supply and technical operations of a wide variety of networking products.

-Provide leadership for approximately 70+ Cisco employees across supply operations and technical operations functions to managing the PCBA manufacturing operations and execution at different outsourced manufacturing sites across in China.

-Develop and maintain close relationships with our 3rd party manufacturing, assembly and logistics partners.

-Provide technical operations and manufacturing quality support for finished goods manufacturing operations at four different outsourced manufacturing sites across China.

-Is accountable for various delivery, quality, and financial metrics, such as Lead Time Attainment, On Time Shipment, On Time Delivery, Lead Time Attainment, Build, Inventory, E&O, Buy Down, NMS Cost, and various quality KPI to enable an integrated delivery experience for our finished good factories across APJC, EMEAR, and Americas.

-Is responsible for working with various internal Cisco stakeholders to ensure smooth NPI launches that meets the project's schedule, cost, and quality requirements.

-On an as needed bases, lead major manufacturing site start-ups or manufacturing site exits in alignment with Cisco's supply chain node strategy.

 

The primary strategic responsibility of this position are the following ones:

-In partnership with Cisco internal stakeholders, drive manufacturing and supply chain transformation in China.

-As a member of the APJC Supply Chain leadership team, Grow and foster a globally connected workforce that enhances the local communities through sub region leadership.

-Build organizational capabilities managing Cisco manufacturing employees across China.

-As the senior leader for supply chain in China, partner with sales teams and other GTM partnerships to enable the APJC business.

-Work with Cisco supply chain functions to improve the performance of the outsourced manufacturing sites in the Southeast Asia region.

Who You'll Work With

Cisco Supply Chain Operations (SCO) consists of the following functional organizations. Global Manufacturing Operations, Technology and Quality, Global Supplier Management, Global Planning and Fulfillment, and Supply Chain Transformation.

Global Manufacturing Operations is responsible for global manufacturing management and execution, including PCBA and finished good assembly, material planning, logistics, manufacturing technology and quality, and contract manufacturer relationship management. Organizationally, GMO consists of central teams across Manufacturing Operations, Partner Management, and Logistics, as well as regional operations teams across APJC, EMEAR, and Americas.

The APJC GMO is responsible for managing the manufacturing and logistics execution of both PCBA and finished goods at numerous outsourced manufacturing sites across multiple countries in APJC. In addition, APJC GMO is responsible for quality, attainment, build management, and delivery experience for our customers. APJC GMO is organized both sub-regionally, across Southeast Asia and China, as well as functionally across PCBA Manufacturing and Finished Good Manufacturing and Logistics.
