aWhat you’ll do:

Job Duties –

·       Design and develop Statistical models and tools in Cisco owned tools (preferably SAS)

·       Work with business planners and COE leads to understand business requirements and drive projects to create optimization tools

·       Understand Cisco supply chain operational metrics to create analytical and statistical models

·       User best in class statistical tools

·       Drive best in class analytical framework

·       Ensure standardization and scalability of data and analytics

·       Enhanced teamwork and effective decision-making

·       Continuously drive better business practice and increased value to the business through consistent measurement and improvement of key activities Measurements

·       Specific industry experience in Statistical tools use and coding experience (SAS experience mandatory)

·       Strong communicator (written and verbal) and ability to create executive friendly presentations on complex business and supply chain topics and deliver presentations to various levels

·       Analytics – ability to aggregate large amounts of data, filter for importance, and tie together in a context relevant “story” designed to drive action


Who you’ll work with:

This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of Cisco’s supply data integrity and the downstream tools and analytics that consume it. This is a high profile center of excellence that has direct impacts to the customer experience, supply chain planning, and manufacturing execution

A critical individual contributor position in the Global Planning and Fulfillment team within Supply Chain Organization responsible for development and maintenance of Statistical models and tools


Who You Are:

Candidate Requirement –

·       6-8 years of broad and deep statistical domain experience and basic supply chain understanding

·         Experience in and familiarity with quantitative / predictive modelling using techniques such as Time Series and Regression Analysis and drivers based modelling.

·       Ability to produce and analyses key performance metrics and recommend ways to optimize metric integrity for management review.

·       Prior experience in managing business planning needs with innovative and quantitative analysis techniques

·       Ability to convert a Business Problem into Analytical problem and providing Analytical Solutions

·       Data Mining experience

Technical Skills Requirement -

·       Experience working with any RDBMS and integration with application

·       Knowledge BASE SAS, SAS EG , SAS ETS, SAS OR, SQL is Mandatory  

·       MS SQL server , Oracle and Teradata understanding is Preferred

·       Exposure to Dashboard tool like Tableau, Elkview, SAP BO, SAP LUMIRA is added advantage.

·       Knowledge of R, Python, EXCEL VBA is preferred

·       Proficient in writing complex SQL queries on relational data

Education Requirement –

·       Graduation from Premier institute with minimum 60% grade

·       SAS certification is preferred

·       Master’s Degree In Statistics or equivalent in Business Administration or related supply chain management field is preferred
