What You’ll Do

Role & Responsibilities

In this highly visible role of Business Performance & Operations Manager you will:

  • Drive best in class operational performance for Technical Services EMEAR through a number of key operational areas including Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Non-Standard Deals, Quality, ISO compliance and Organizational Governance
  • Engage with executive leadership teams representing both the function and the overall business entity, leading and facilitating, as well as contributing to strategic and operational dialogue and decisions
  • Provide a holistic view of the overall business landscape including financial, customer, people and operational business drivers, provide recommendations as needed to the senior leadership team
  • Innovate, automate, and develop analytics to create new capabilities, and to grow the value delivered by the business operations
  • Develop the skills and contributions of the team, ensuring a highly productive and motivated team environment in which all opinions are recognised, respected and treated equitably
  • Develop strong, productive relationships locally, regionally and globally to increase team effectiveness and achieve business goals
  • Interlock with other groups in Cisco; drive effective execution and collaboration across Cisco’s matrixed organization
  • Represent the EMEAR region in global forums, giving key input in discussions on the perspective of the region across a range of topics

Who You’ll Work With

The Strategy & Business Operations team drives best in class operational performance supporting the growth of the Technical Services business in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia. To do this we focus on a number of different areas: Strategy and Planning, Portfolio and Project Management, Communications, Business Partnership and Business Performance and Operations including Business Intelligence, Quality, Deal and Pipeline Management and more

 Who You Are

Main requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in an operations role with a thorough understanding of elements such as Business Intelligence, Governance, Finance, Quality.
  • Experience working with executive leadership teams
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing a team
  • University degree or equivalent

 

Desired Skills

  • Excellent financial and business acumen
  • Experience working with senior executives including excellent communication skills to inform and influence; with an ability to set and negotiate expectations
  • Ability to assess data and information and make timely, effective decisions with consideration for both the long and short term business needs
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing world class quality processes, realizing productivity and efficiency through streamlined processes
  • Ability to build productive peer and stakeholder relationships
  • Proven track record in delivering results
  • Proven strong leadership skills that span beyond management of the team
  • Organized and structured
  • Responsive and agile working style
