<b>What You'll Do</b>

As a member of the Global Engagement Desk team, you will:

·       Review resource requests for accuracy and completeness

·       Ensure all requests conform with established Advanced Services policies

·       Track and manage all requests using approved Global Engagement Desk and Advanced Services support tools and systems, including entering detailed notes throughout the vetting process

·       Present requests to Delivery Managers for staffing solutions and record those solutions, including any pertinent notes

·       Maintain accurate records of all staffing requests and assignments, supporting back-office operations as needed within a professional services organization

·       Provide staffing and project delivery administration support to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

·       Create and foster communications across teams, management layers and geographies

·       Track KPI metrics and assist with GED reporting to enable continuous improvement

·       Drive team building

·       Act as the Global Engagement Desk primary in-theater liaison to Cisco management for staffing matters

·       Distributing incoming resource requests amongst local Global Engagement Desk team for servicing (queue management)

·       Collaborating with stakeholders to define business requirements, develop solutions to issues and/or drive continuous improvement

·       Function as lead escalation point for regional Global Engagement Desk team

·       Foster adoption of and conformance with established Advanced Services and Global Engagement Desk policies and operating guidelines

·       Relay on-going status and feedback to Global Engagement Desk leadership and collaborate on operating changes

<b>Who You'll Work With</b>

The Global Engagement Desk team is a critical component of Cisco Advanced Services, functioning essentially as Advanced Services’ air traffic control for all Advanced Services work involving Cisco and contract resources. The Global Engagement Desk team receives new services work requests, vets them, and coordinates resource staffing assignments following well-established staffing protocols and using custom-developed tools. This team considers attention to detail and tenacity for results to be key traits. Without the Global Engagement Desk AS delivery would be severely impacted, and eliminate a key source of business intelligence data that is used to effectively manage the supported Advanced Services groups.

 Minimum Qualifications

·       Strong interpersonal skills

·       Strong written and oral communication skills

·       Highly-detailed approach to managing and documenting daily workflow

·       Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and high work volumes

·       Ability to maintain clear and accurate status of numerous in-flight activities

·       Ability to work in a load-sharing, team atmosphere

·       Ability to manage a matrixed, virtual team, including delegating tasks and adjusting work instructions to achieve effective results

 Work experience:9-11 yrs

Desired Skills

·       Good command of all Microsoft Office products

·       Ability and willingness to adapt quickly to new tools and processes (flexibility)

·       Ability to creatively and independently solve problems, particularly those involving perceived high visibility/pressure
