What you’ll do

The position is in the Global Fixed Assets Operations team that is leading a cross functional effort company wide to enhance Cisco's End to End Fixed Asset Management process, ensuring compliance in safeguarding our fixed assets and process excellence to accommodate future growth and operational efficiency. The Asset Management System (AMS) and the Radio Identification Frequency (RFID) technology are used by most of the entities to manage assets. Roles and Responsibilities As the Business Operations Analyst, you will be part of the WW Fixed Assets Operations Team supporting Asset Owners, Entity Controllers, Engineering, Asset Management System (AMS) IT and various other functions across Cisco to ensure that everyone is in compliance with the Fixed Asset requirements. • Train asset owners, finance stakeholders and others on the end to end Fixed Assets Life Cycle, and using AMS and RFID to manage assets. • Support AMS users (address questions, data issues, provide reporting, etc.). Manage the various operational aspects of the Fixed Assets Life Cycle (i.e., purchasing, transfers & disposals). • Quarterly, review the assets that are Out of Compliance (missing asset tag #, location and status), publish the metrics and drive improvement by partnering with Finance and Operations teams. • Document processes, and maintain operations manual • Coordinate the audits for ROW, report results, follow up and re-mediate • Address escalations and systems issues on an as needed basis • Assist with the local fixed asset audits • Metrics reporting, reconciliations and other ad hoc analysis • Perform SOX controls and ensure SOX compliance • Monthly review of asset transfers, retirements and disposals • Assist with acquisition integration • Support Fixed Assets projects and initiatives

Preferred Experience • Knowledge of Fixed Assets accounting • Project Management • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner Education • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with 5-8 years of experience • MBA/CA preferred
