Description: 

Cisco is seeking a leader, hands-on individual and a good communicator to help build Business Intelligence Analytics & Reporting platforms. In this critical role, the person would have overall responsibility for planning, directing, and developing the strategies to deliver enterprise level strategies in Analytics & Data Visualization.

Responsibilities:

·       Accountable for the development and maintenance of all business intelligence, data warehouse and related technical standards, design patterns and reference architectures.

·       Develop and execute long-term and short-term BI analytical & reporting strategies

·       Liaison between the customers, internal & external stake holders

Functional Areas:

·       Business Intelligence - Application of technology & practices such as reporting, analytics and data visualization to help our client's source, format and present its business information.

·       Data Warehouse - Application of technology & practices used to retrieve data from one or more sources to be used for access and analysis.

·       Data Modeling - Application of technology and practices to define and analyze data requirements needed to support our client's business capabilities.

Qualifications:

·       10+ years overall experience with a focus on building high-performance, scalable BI analytical & reporting systems.

·       Strong understanding of Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft PowerBI, SAP BusinessObjects, or similar BI tools and platforms.

·       Strong people management skills that indicate the ability to influence, motivate, and inspire confidence across the organization.

  • Ability to establish technology strategy, develops and implements a pragmatic migration strategy, and ensures the successful delivery of large / complex business intelligence initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of business intelligence and data warehouse technologies, including extensive knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, OLAP tools and reporting tools
  • Excellent understanding of data and integration architectures, products and techniques.
  • Familiar with application technologies, Web applications, ERP systems, CRM systems, and other application systems
  • Strong hand's-on experience and understanding of project implementations, project structure (both formal and informal), project life-cycle, and best practice project standards.
  • Experience in assessing business intelligence/analytics data gaps in large scale heterogeneous environment
