New Partner Business Development Manager

What You'll Do

Cisco is developing an innovative joint go to market with a leading Emerging market IT Vendor. This posting intends to find an individual that will manage this strategic relationship end to end, and will be accountable for growing the joint business in the region. The successful candidate will be a key member of the MEA Channel organization reporting into the MEA COO.

In this job you will:

Manage the relationship with the IT vendor’s Middle East and Africa senior management team
Jointly develop the go to market strategy for the region. Provide pioneering solutions to a novel way of doing business.

Who you'll work with 

Work with local sales teams to identify opportunities, develop funnel, progress opportunities with unique value propositions  and close business
Design multiparty deal structures involving the multiple vendors / customer / partners /    funders
Develop applicable multi-vendor solutions to solve customers’ business challenges
In addition will be responsible for developing & tracking our GTM strategy to effectively compete with our top regional competitor

This position requires a high degree of successful Executive-level business solution development expertise.  A depth of knowledge across several industries is very desirable. Experience with and knowledge of business development and partner management/development is important, as is good business judgment, a comfortable, open communication style, and a willingness and ability to work with teams.

The successful candidate should have proven experience in

  • building commercial models for deals with TCV >$10M
  • selling and delivering strategic solutions
  • business development with C-suite relationship builder skills

Desired Skills

  • Senior executive presence and charisma
  • An Advanced degree is preferred along with at least 5 years of combined industry, consulting or business development  experience
  • Strong Communication and Presentation skills is a plus.
  • Distinctive career history problem solving and issue resolution
  • MBA or post-graduate education from top tier University is preferred
  • Ability to build a strategic partner and regional business plan
  • The ability to understand & add value to the partners business model
  • Financial Modelling Skills for business case development and ROI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English a must, Multi-lingual ability outside of English is a plus
