Automotive Ethernet Design Component Debug Engineer

Job Description

This Silicon Sustaining and Debug Engineer position is within the Ethernet Product Line for Automotive Customers.

The team is responsible for all post-production issues that may arise in Ethernet silicon.

In this position, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, debug, Verilog simulation, lab measurements, and communication with customers.

You will also be expected to own and drive silicon issues from the initial problem reproduction through root-cause and documentation, working closely with a global network of engineers from a variety of disciplines, and communicate findings and solutions to Intel Field Engineers and directly to customers.

You will be expected to capture key learning for next generation products.

You will need to respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur and develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

You will be expected to acquire a knowledge of the logic design of Intel's high speed connectivity devices such as Ethernet controllers, and perform both functional and electrical characterization/measurements using Electronic/comms Lab Equipment.
