Our award-winning Engineering department develops end-to-end technology solutions to are used to provide the best video entertainment experience available. Our Software Engineering division in AT&T's Entertainment Group is looking for a passionate and inventive software engineer to join the Clients Application Development department. The Clients Application Development group is responsible for turning the vision of our next generation video experience into reality by providing the core services and functionality of our video experience on mobile applications and embedded platforms. We develop the user interfaces, audio & video pipeline, search algorithms, guide databases, recording management systems, encryption/network services, and web/graphics frameworks that are the foundation of the next generation entertainment products. All of these features are used by our world-class user interface to provide the industry leading video entertainment experience.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

+ 2-3 years of experience developing software applications with Java and C/C++ 2-3 years of experience developing multi-threaded and distributed application systems

+ Ability to design the interfaces of software components

+ Ability to create sequence diagrams and data flow models

+ Strong knowledge of Java/C/C++ Programming

+ Ability to write automated unit tests with JUnit and/or GoogleTest

+ Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and self-motivated

+ Ability to learn new technical skills and functional areas

+ Understanding of software development life cycles

+ Experience using software version control and issue tracking systems

+ Ability to work as part of a team

+ Ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions to software development problems in written and verbal form

+ Ability to successfully complete multiple tasks

+ Must be willing to work occasional extended hours

+ Domestic and International travel may be required
