What You'll Do

As an ACCOUNT MANAGER at Cisco you'll play a pivotal role in the sales process and work with a large portfolio of transformative technology products and services. In this role, you will sell Cisco’s latest Networking solutions to Verizon, one of Cisco’s largest service provider accounts. This is an opportunity to influence >$100M of revenue in key technology areas for Cisco, a “Dow 30” and NASDAQ leader! Who You Are

* BS/BA or equivalent.

* 2+ years in a customer-facing, sales role for a service provider or large enterprise account

* Able to manage weekly, monthly and quarterly commits for the business franchise he/she will lead

* Leader – ability to lead a cross-functional team across sales, engineering, support and finance

* Motivator - self-motivated and able to rally support inside both Cisco and Verizon to drive the transformation of Verizon’s network

* Communicator - articulate with strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting in front of senior level customer audiences

* Persuader - able to overcome political or technical objections to drive implementation of innovative new business models and technology solutions to help customers achieve their business objectives more effectively than investing in other opportunities; align Cisco's value proposition to the customer's business needs

* Negotiator – able to negotiate solutions to issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy required

* Closer - able to exceed sales revenue targets on a recurring basis through the use of a variety of professional sales techniques 

Travel required: approx. 30%
