What You'll Do

  • You will prospect and build strong commercial relationships within the Southern Swiss (Ticino) Market Accounts by developing key relationships
  • Expansion of current key customer contacts to new contacts on Line of Business and CxO level.
  • Develop a Cisco Account Management Business Plan, in collaboration with cross-functional team members to align with the customer's long-term growth and transformational business opportunities
  • Work closely with the Partner and Cisco teams driving regular review meetings around the strategy and delivery of new solutions, products and services, as well as upgrades of existing installed base with customers
  • Drive and implement the execution of the sales strategy to meet agreed landmarks, timescales and to ensure that sales targets (products, software and services) are met or exceeded
  • Identify and close concrete business opportunities with account set through established Cisco partners
  • Drive the delivery of accurate business metrics across the Cisco team and anticipate any change in the opportunities, market, resource and customer's needs/requirements that could impact the overall revenue target opportunity
  • Produce monthly forecast, weekly commit and pipeline development reports to provide Cisco with accurate business metrics and intelligence
  • Acts as the KEY contact for Cisco, responsible for maintaining the relationship, building and executing the sales strategy within the Southern Swiss Market Account set.
  • You are responsible for and measured against sales targets and long-term development value of the customer relationships.
  • You work to create a seamless customer experience establishing trusted advisor status with the customers at a senior level.

Who You Are

  • Education to degree level, preferable
  • Formal training in sales techniques
  • Proven track record of successful sales in the Voice / Data / Networking / Software Industry with accounts or within a territory
  • You have knowledge of the mid-market, existing relationships and/or a track record of selling to mid-market customers
  • Project management
  • Proven experience in translating complex technical solutions into business language in order to sell to executive management
  • Ability to network with a customer and partner organization to identify with all key influencers and decision makers
  • Mid-market Focus
  • Negotiation Skills
  • You can build close relationships with CxO level and Line of Business within the selected accounts
  • Business planning and reporting (monthly forecast, weekly commit, pipeline development)
  • Identify customers’ business initiatives and challenges and become a long-term business partner
  • Sales forecasting
  • Fluent Italian and English a must
  • Based in Ticino or close to the Italian border
