Date: Nov 8, 2017 Location: Cairo, GZ, EG Company: Ericsson Job Summary This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support that the one offered by the 1st Level Operations. This shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. Responsibilities & Tasks 2nd Level Assurance Support Activities Identify the impacts and risks as a result of the solution introduction, and recommendations on solution evolution Share and transfer knowledge, and mentor the other team members Interact with customer and other Service Delivery organization 2nd Level Incident Management Problem Management System Administration Position Qualifications Core Competences: Expert Knowledge TCP/IP Expert Knowledge of IOS/XR and JUNOS Detailed level domain knowledge of GSM Core, GPRS core, 3G, Radio, Transmission & MPLS network Expert level hands-on experience with Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and SONET/SDH Transport Architectures Including: Ethernet (10/100/1000/10000) technologies, Routers and Switches, Spanning Tree, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS-TE Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge in the five or more competence areas: IP MPLS, QOS, Switching, MPLS (RSVP-LDP), MPLS L3VPN, L2VPN and InterAS Excellent HW Knowledge on various platforms Smart Edge, Cisco, Huawei, Extreme Networks & Juniper: Router & switches Knowledge of Managed Service Telecom Operations Practice Presentation & Communication Skills Knowledge sharing Problem Solving and strategic thinking Language Skills Delivering Results & Meeting Customer Expectations Analyzing Working with People Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements: Five years’ degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent education. Cisco Certification (CCIP/CCIE), and/or Juniper Certification (JNCIP/JNCIE), or equivalent experience.
