What You’ll do

You will join Cisco as a Project Manager to support all aspects of the Capital Group. In this position, you will be empowered to create efficiencies, process-improve, and position yourself for continued growth

 

This role is ideally suited for a dynamic and ambitious individual who can apply their existing accounting and systems knowledge to quickly develop their understanding of the Cisco Capital business and financial processes, while taking advantage of the learning and career development opportunities that a role with Cisco Finance will provide.

 

Work closely with key stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance system capabilities with existing processes.

Provide technical support and solutions to various groups within Capital.

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to proactively capture new business requirements and accurately adjust reporting/accounting accordingly.
  • Drive process improvements while ensuring compliance to internal standards.
  • Participate in critical cross-functional initiatives, which contribute to systems and process standardizations and enhancement including optimization opportunities.
  • Note extended hours may need to be worked during special projects and month/quarter end.

Cisco Capital offers financing solutions to Cisco's customers designed to support their business goals and technology needs. Capital Accounting is part of the Corporate Controller's Group (CCG), and is a global team that supports Cisco Capital. You will work as part of a highly-skilled team primarily tasked with providing accounting operations support, system reporting and technical guidance to Cisco Capital's ever expanding financial offerings.

 

Who You are

You are a highly motivated, team oriented, and process driven Project Manager. You are highly analytical, proficient with systems, and demonstrates interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

 

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of related accounting experience; CPA preferred
  • Experience in lease and loan accounting preferred
  • Experience with ORACLE preferred; OLFM experience in all modules a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Strong data analysis skills including the extensive use of MS Excel/Access, Oracle - SQL and PL/SQL, ERP applications, and business intelligence applications.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and business partnering skills
  • Good business knowledge and ability to link business processes with financial accounting
  • Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to drive to solutions and results
  • Ability to work multiple priorities in parallel
  • Problem solving approach and ability to work across organizations to resolve cross-functional issues
