What You'll Do

The software program management role concentrates on digital products; software delivered on-premise, bundled, as-a-service (aaS) and via the cloud. This is a highly collaborative role spanning across all operational functions, where you will represent operations in bringing all the relevant experts, services and tools together to realize and maintain the customer experience.

You will be responsible for translating strategic direction related to digital products from executive team into program plans and drive teams towards execution.

You will partner with the software businesses to identify areas for improvement and optimization of processes, cost, quality and delivery. You should have an understanding of the software industry, SaaS and Cloud delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide creative solutions to optimize Supply Chain Operations internal and external processes, policies, protocols, and tools to enable the best cost, quality, and delivery of Cisco products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, finance, sales and the Supply Chain Organization to define future operating model for SaaS and SW
  • Learn about the different disciplines that make up the Cisco supply chain & how they work as a team to deliver world-class products & solutions.

Who You'll Work With

You will collaborate and influence cross functional teams within and outside Supply Chain Operations to deliver an operating model that is scalable and agile and support Cisco’s SW businesses.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) is required. Accepting majors in: Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or all relevant Engineering disciplines.
  • Masters Degree is preferred.


  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Deep understanding of Cisco products and services.
  • Understanding of and experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Delivery of on-prem Software and SaaS.
  • Awareness and familiarity with systems/tools: Source Control, Continuous Integration, Bug/feature-reporting systems and File sharing applications.
