What You'll Do

You will work with the Advanced Services product managers representing the various architectures to build and execute product launch, content and sales tool development, and promotion of Cisco Advanced Services. You will focus on understanding the Advanced Services portfolio and how it creates customer business benefits and outcomes. This includes the development of internal and external marketing activities spanning solution/services planning, positioning, messaging, collateral content development, sales tools/training development, as well as subject matter expertise for marketing and thought leadership programs.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Go-to-Market execution: Help execute overall go-to-market strategy and tactics
  • Solution Messaging/Positioning: develop and implement high impact and differentiated solution/services positioning and messaging to maximize relevance and resonance with key market segments.
  • Be the subject matter expert when working with cross-marketing teams to develop go-to-market programs and integrated campaigns for our solutions/services across key markets (including email marketing, webinars, events, speaking opportunities and PR initiatives).
  • Sales Tools: Develop and deliver high-impact sales tools such as videos, white papers, presentations, executive briefs, etc.
  • Sales & Channel Training: Craft key sales and channel training materials covering industry trends, value proposition, and competitive positioning.

Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with Advanced Services Product Management on incorporating new functionality and integrations into product messaging based on business value and creating content such as marketing collateral, videos and presentations and internal sales tools for business buyers

You will work closely with Technical Marketing Engineers to develop meaningful technical content such as use case videos and presentations for technical buyers

You will work closely with other product marketers cross-functionally within Services Marketing and Technical Services as well as Business units to develop joint strategy and go to market plans for joint messaging and sales tools with other product lines.

Who You Are

  • You have at least 10+ years of product marketing experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • You have the demonstrated ability to work within a matrixed marketing structure to rapidly produce results.
  • Technical acumen – the ability to translate technical features and functionality into business outcomes and value.
  • Strategic and tactical expertise in social media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • You are experienced in copywriting and editing whilst adhering to brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • You have the ability to craft a compelling story and build presentations to deliver the message
  • Competitive research experience desired
  • Bachelor's degree minimum. Master's degree in business/marketing area highly desired.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
