What You’ll do

You will Support US Commercial East Area product forecasting cycle including weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts of bookings, hedging strategy and linearity. Flash updates on how we are doing vs. forecast. You will also support US Collaboration architecture forecasting cycle including weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts of Collaboration bookings and related management hedging strategy. Assist team with WebEx recurring renewals results compared to renewal goals at the region level.

 

Responsibilities also include:

  • Inform sales leadership of their expense performance and help them understand the tools and reports available to them to manage their expenses. Top Spenders flash etc.
  • Cross train on Services forecasting responsibilities for Central and East Areas.
  • Learn the field FA role including appropriate tools and systems to help support decision cycles for the business partners you work with on a daily basis.
  • Work actively with your peer FAs and Controllers to make improvements in how SSF supports the business. Share best practices and attend FA forums.
  • Assist with overachiever analysis - those sales agents who are identified with larger than normal monthly Commission payouts. Help us research the causes and recommend action, if needed.
  • Financial Analysis of routes to market and sub-segments within Territory Operation.
  • Assist with Annual planning and goal setting cycle across our Area teams – product, services and architectures.

You are joining Americas Sales & Services Finance and will in a cross-functional role working with business partners, sales teams, technical teams, leadership and peers.

Financial Analyst helping to drive a better outcome in our US Commercial Theater and our Sales and Services Finance team.

 

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Bachelors in Finance or Accounting.  Graduate program or Certification in process is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Finance, Accounting, Business Analyst or Deals Desk Pricing Analyst.
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to work with the Field Sales Teams.
  • Excellent data query skills and working with financial tools and applications at Cisco.
  • A self-motivated person who sets goals and drives to achieve them.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
  • Familiar with subscriptions and software models highly desirable
