What You’ll do

As Manager, your role is to lead GVS&CS FP&A team and drive the FP&A activities supporting global reporting, forecasting, and planning.  

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the regions to prepare for WD+7 monthly finance reviews including forecast/results guidelines, consolidation, WW analysis and packaging. 
  • Manage all budgeting and reporting of OPEX and headcount. This includes annual target setting, quarterly commits, monthly flash updates, reporting and analysis. 
  • Drive change to improve productivity and increase business insights.

  

Who You’ll work with

You will partner with the Sales Strategy & Planning team in development of the Long Range Strategic Plan including significant enhancement of driver based forecast models. You collaborate closely with Sales Strategy on growth and productivity initiatives. You will also work closely with IT and Operations to define and deliver new capabilities to support the business.

As the Global Virtual Sales & Customer Success (GVS&CS) FP&A Manager, you will be in a highly visible position, which will require a high degree of leadership, communication, collaboration, problem solving, forecast modeling and finance acumen in order to achieve success. You are able to work closely at all levels within the Regions, Corporate, Product and Services Finance, Sales Strategy and have the skill set to lead not only the direct team but also to drive change across the company.

 

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and translation of strategic objectives in financial and operational plans
  • Extensive experience in developing and using productivity metrics (price, volume, inflation, deflation) to partner with the business to drive measurable results
  • Comfortable and experienced using a variety of financial systems. Extensive experience in leading or participating in financial systems integration.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to present business results clearly, completely and accurately
  • International business and finance experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to manage complexity and change while staying focused on strategic outcomes
  • Comfortable leading teams in different locations over multiple time zones
  • Has recruited, mentored, and developed strong teams
  • A team player with demonstrated ability to work with individuals in a wide variety of functional areas, levels of management and to organize and lead cross functional teams
  • Able to prioritize limited resources and negotiate the deployment of them
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills through all mediums including oral, written, and formal presentation.
  • Provide holistic views of Product and Services performance and key drivers
  • Deliver FP&A priorities, including core analysis of key metrics (bookings, revenue, expense/HC, profitability, etc), new and ad hoc analysis, modeling and scenario testing for strategy development, strategic initiatives and planning.
  • Serve as financial leader to sales leaders on sales performance, and provide input and interpretation.
  • Translate bookings targets into segment/region targets. Ensure that Sales management fully allocates targets into sales agent goals.
  • Analyze segment expenses/HC per the recurring review cycle. Identify variances to budget and potential causes of under/over performance and provide recommendations.

 

Also highly desirable:

  • Planning and analysis; problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Communicating with and influencing stakeholders (primarily Finance leaders and business partners.)
  • Collaborating with peers/leaders across Finance & Sales
  • Providing judgment and guidance on financial analyses
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase and Business Objects
