What You'll Do

In this role, you will influence forecasting models, and methodologies with the goal of driving accuracy, profitability, and accountability, provide strategic and financial guidance to the organization and shape investment decisions through financial analysis. You will partner with senior business leaders on long-term and the short-term planning and be able to influence spend in alignment with Cisco's overall strategy. You will initiate and lead financial strategy discussions and ensure fiduciary compliance in all aspects of the business.  You will lead, develop and build the team with a focus on Talent Development and influence change across broad areas of Cisco, by working with and leading a number of key initiatives.

Who You'll Work With

The Business Technology and Operations Finance team (BTOF) seeks a Senior Director, Data Center Group Finance reporting to the Senior Vice President, BTOF.

The BTOF organization partners with Engineering and Operations business leaders and their teams to create sustainable shareholder value and competitive advantages through strategic long-range planning, new business development, forecasting and budgeting. Priorities include: building strong business partnerships, maximizing profitable growth, accelerating analytics to drive portfolio decisions, increasing productivity and alignment across the organization, and growing and developing a team of Finance employees.

You’re a trusted advisor who inspires confidence through a proven record of innovation and successful change management and the ability to develop, motivate, and acquire a Finance team globally!  You are highly motivated with the ability to drive to a result, with a proven ability to work with and successfully influence an executive team.

At a minimum, we require:

• Requires BS or BA in Finance or Business related field; MBA is highly preferred, as well as formal certifications in change management practices

• 10+ years related Finance experience, with 3+ years P&L Management, within short and long term horizons, 2+ years sales finance or BU finance and 2+ years FP&A experience (internally or externally)

• A global mindset that brings cross-cultural understanding

• Ability to work multiple priorities in parallel
