This is an important time of transition for GSP (Global Service Provider) Service Delivery segment. There is a lot going on across our global team as we move to our new operating model and organizational design. Immense amount of collaboration is taking place between service delivery, sales and engineering to make sure we cater to the operational and technological needs of some of the world’s largest Service Providers. This is truly next generation of Cisco’s Service Provider business to ensure we are there for our customers, supporting them with emerging technologies likes SDN, Cloud, Data Center, Virtualization, IoT, IoE etc.

Who You’ll Work With
Are you ready for the next wave? Here, you'll be managing large or strategic, or multiple large deployments for our web-based customers while you work hand in hand with some of the brightest people in Cisco.
These business critical projects utilize existing or new Cisco technologies, multiple third party vendors and cross multiple functions, have high organization visibility and may include multiple locations or Regions. You will be managing multiple critical projects in tight time frames for mission critical network deployments for some of Cisco’s most exciting customers.

Who You Are
- Manages large or strategic customer facing projects or multiple projects or takes a business management role in an large or strategic account or group of accounts.
- Creation of a project schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirements
- Directs project staff including project engineers, vendors, partners or subcontractors.
- Manages the project from start to completion including the resolution of escalated project issues
- Accountable for the Project Budget
- Presents service business value to customers for new or existing business
- Influences the customer in the assessment, planning and management of complex technical implementation projects.
- May manage complex internal projects/programs within Cisco
- May Program Manage ongoing optimization service to deployed customer networks
- May provide leadership to the Program Management Community to further develop the PM/PGM role, processes and operations.
- May carry responsibilities of team leadership
- Maintains customer satisfaction score of 4.5 or higher
- Develops and presents proposals and negotiates final agreements
- May operate in a Business Development capacity for new customers/markets/services

Minimum Qualifications 
Related Business/ Technical Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:
- Project/Program Management experience in the deployment of leading edge, multi-vendor technologies in a highly complex commercial environment.
- Has professional project management training credentials (PMI)
- Has basic knowledge of routing, routing protocols, switching, internet and sound knowledge of general network architecture
- Has demonstrated clear leadership skills and experience working with large project teams and strategic account teams.
- Has demonstrated a thorough understanding of the sales process including risk assessment and scoping
- Has demonstrated a thorough understanding of the legal issues with contracts
- Has demonstrated advanced negotiation and presentation skills
- Understands the organization, aims and processes

Education and Experience:
- Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 10+ years related experience in networking/telecommunications industry
OR min 4-5 years managing LAN and/or WAN network implementation and support PLUS 7+ years in a Clearly defined Senior Project Management role
- Requires professional PM certification , ESi, PMP or equivalent.

- Ability to navigate and drive cross functional teams including sales, engineering, services and customers.
