PCRF Job Description:


Graduate or post graduate in science or engineering

Technical Skills:

1) Well versed with 3GPP specifications/Releases R8 and onwards

2) Expert in the following interfaces of the EPC Architecture S11, S3/S4, S1-MME, S1-U, S11, S6a, S5/8, Gn/Gp, Gx, Sy, Rx, Gy, Sp, Sh, Sd, S9

3) Understanding of Mobility nodes (eNodeB, HLR/HSS, MME, S/P-GW, PCRF, TDF, OCS, OCG, SPR, SGSN/GGSN, DRA, IMS nodes)

4) Working experience in Configuring, Testing and troubleshooting the 3G/4G Mobility Network

5) Knowledge of complimentary Packet Core Applications; GTP-C, GTP-U, RADIUS, LDAP, DIAMETER, DNS

6) Linux and python/shell scripting expertise

7) Technical writing skills for upgrade MOP/Implementation Guide

Job responsibilities:


1) create Method of Procedure and Implementation Guides for SW upgarde

2) Design Policy and CRD data configuration for Customers new features.

3) Day to Day troubleshooting issues in customer labs

4) Support FFA ( First Field Application) 

5) Support recreation of the production issues in lab

6) Intial Product/project design documentation and support

7) Interagtion of the pcrf/dra with the other netwrok nodes during the new project initation

8) Work with BU on design and new feature needs of customer

9) Provide project status updates to CRT manager/SIAs/PM

10) IP planning 

11) Weekly discuss with customer on product/project shortcomings, and ways to improve them for future projects.

12) Create call flows of new features.

13) Deploy the virtulization enviroment.

14) Create Lab Engineering Plan document

15) Contribution to Network Design Requirement and Joint Requirement Docs.
